Creates an identifier object.

Parameters

• name
  Type: System.String
  The name of the identifier.

• isCached
  Type: System.Boolean
  true if the identifier should be cached; otherwise, false.

• typeName
  Type: System.String
  The type name of the identifier.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.Office.Server.ApplicationRegistry.Administration.Identifier
An Identifier object.

Examples

This example creates an entity called ProductModel from the AdventureWorks2000 database.

Prerequisites

• Ensure a Shared Service Provider is already created.

• Create an LOBSystem instance and set connection parameters as shown in How to: Create an LobSystem Using the Administration Object Model.

• Replace the constant value EnterYourSSPNameHere in the code with the name of your Shared Resource Provider.
