How to: Verify Classification Changes
You can verify that the Classification plug-in creates the iterations and areas correctly by creating a new team project and referring to the following procedure.
Required Permissions
To perform this procedure you must be a member of the Team Foundation Valid Users group. If the necessary security permissions are set explicitly, then you must have the View this node permission set to Allow on the area node. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To verify iterations and areas
In Team Explorer, right-click the new team project, choose Team Project Settings, and then choose Areas and Iterations.
In the Areas and Iterations dialog box, select the Area tab and ensure that each area appears correctly.
Select the Iteration tab and ensure that each iteration appears correctly.
Click Close to close the Areas and Iterations dialog box.
