How to: Open Source Code Files from Work Items
If you are using Team Foundation source control, source code files can be linked to a particular work item, allowing other members of your team to see what changes have been made in the source code to address a work item.
Required Permissions
To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View work items in this node and Read permissions set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To open a source code file from a work item
Open the work item that is linked to a source code file, and click the Links tab.
On the Links tab, select a Versioned Item link, and click Open.
