Object Models Available via Upgrade
The report binding scenarios that are available with Crystal Reports for Visual Studio are based on the CrystalReportViewer and ReportDocument object models.
However, additional solutions are available by upgrade. These solutions are explained in Upgrade Options. They include the Report Application Server (RAS), which provides the ReportClientDocument object model, and Crystal Reports Server or BusinessObjects Enterprise (BOE), which provides the InfoObject object model.
