How to: Run a Load Test Using Agents

After you have created the load test using Load Test Wizard, you then run your load test and view how your Web site responds to the load simulation. After you start a load test, you can monitor it while it is running. You can also analyze it after it has completed. For more information, see Analyzing Load Test Runs.

After you are confident that your test runs well with a light load and for brief durations, you can run your load test on a rig. A rig is a group of computers that generate simulated load for testing. This group of computers consists of a controller and agents. For more information, see About Controllers, Agents, and Rigs.
