How to: View Code Analysis for C/C++ Warnings

You can view code analysis warnings in the Error List or in the Output window. In the Error List, you can sort warnings and double-click a warning to view the line of code in the code editor that caused the warning. You can also select a warning and press F1 to view Help for the warning.

To view code analysis warnings

  • On the View menu, click Error List.
