How to: Delete Zones from Logical Datacenter Diagrams

Use the following procedure to delete one or more zones from a logical datacenter diagram.

Select the zone or zones you want to delete.
Press the DELETE key or choose Delete from the Edit menu.

If the zone(s) contain other zones or logical servers, the Confirm Zone Delete dialog box appears. If the zone(s) are empty, no dialog box appears, regardless of whether the zone you want to delete is connected to another zone.
Click Delete Zone to delete the zone only.

Click Delete All to delete the zone as well as any zones or servers within the zone.

When you choose Delete Zone, the zone and zone endpoints are removed. Any servers or zones within the deleted zone remain. Connections to or from those zones and servers are retained. If the deleted zone was contained within another zone, the zone contents are placed in that zone; otherwise, the contents are placed on the diagram surface.
