Changing the Project Structure and Iterations from Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Project

You can change the project structure of your team project from Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Project. The project structure defines the number of areas a team project has and the hierarchical relationship among them.

You can also change the number of iterations a team project completes, and change the steps in the iterations. As the needs of the project change, you can change the project structure or iterations to meet the steps in the product life cycle.

For more information about how to change the project structure or iterations, see How to: Change Project Structure and Iterations in Microsoft Project and How to: Change Project Structure and Iterations in Microsoft Excel.
