Modify Version Control Settings for a Team Project

You can use the Source Control Settings dialog box to modify version control settings that are specific to a team project.

Required Permissions

To configure check-out settings, your Edit project-level information permission must be set to Allow. For more information, see Pernission reference for Team Foundation Server.

To modify version control settings for a team project

1. In Team Explorer, click the team project.

2. On the Team menu, click Team Project Settings, and then click Source Control.

3. Click one of the following tabs:

   • Check-out Settings

   • Check-in Notes
