Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 (SQL Server Compact 3.5) is a relational database with a compact footprint that is ideal for embedding in device and desktop applications. SQL Server Compact 3.5 supports the same SQL syntax and ADO.NET programming model as other editions of SQL Server. The management tools for SQL Server Compact 3.5 are SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Management Studio Express. The development environment is Visual Studio 2008 or later versions.
