ReportExecutionService.FindString Method

Returns the logical page number of the next occurrence of the specified string.

Syntax

Parameters

  • StartPage
    Page on which to start searching for the string. The search starts on the StartPage and continues to the end of the document before starting over and finishing on the EndPage. Specify 0 to start at the beginning of the snapshot.
  • EndPage
    The page on which to stop searching for the string. Specify 0 to stop at the start page.
  • FindValue
    The string to find.

Return Value

An Integer containing the page number with the next occurrence of the string, or 0 if the string is not found.

Remarks

If no snapshot exists, an error will be returned.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
