ClassName Element for HostedProvider (ADF)

Specifies the class name of the class that provides the hosted event provider functionality.

Syntax

<Providers>
    <HostedProvider>
        <ClassName>

Element Characteristics

Characteristic Description

Data type

string, between 1 and 512 characters and conforming to the Microsoft .NET Framework class naming guidelines.

Default value

None.

Occurrence

Required once per HostedProvider element.

Updates

Can be modified, but not added or deleted, when updating the application.

Remarks

Fully specify the class name. If the class is in a namespace, include the namespace.

The following example shows how to specify that the class name is WebServiceProvider and the class is in the CustomProviders namespace.
