Quaternion.Squad Method

[This documentation is for preview only, and is subject to change in later releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]

Interpolates between quaternions, using spherical quadrangle interpolation.

Namespace:  Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX
Assembly:  Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX (in Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Shared Function Squad ( _
    q1 As Quaternion, _
    a As Quaternion, _
    b As Quaternion, _
    c As Quaternion, _
    t As Single _
) As Quaternion
'Usage
Dim q1 As Quaternion
Dim a As Quaternion
Dim b As Quaternion
Dim c As Quaternion
Dim t As Single
Dim returnValue As Quaternion

returnValue = Quaternion.Squad(q1, a, b, _
    c, t)
public static Quaternion Squad(
    Quaternion q1,
    Quaternion a,
    Quaternion b,
    Quaternion c,
    float t
)
public:
static Quaternion Squad(
    Quaternion q1,
    Quaternion a,
    Quaternion b,
    Quaternion c,
    float t
)
static member Squad :
        q1:Quaternion *
        a:Quaternion *
        b:Quaternion *
        c:Quaternion *
        t:float32 -> Quaternion

Parameters

  • t
    Type: System.Single
    A value that indicates how far to interpolate between the quaternions.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Quaternion
A Quaternion structure that is the result of the spherical quadrangle interpolation.

Remarks

This method uses the following sequence of spherical linear interpolation operations:

Slerp(Slerp(q1, c, t), Slerp(a, b, t), 2t(1 – t))
