WorksheetFunction.BesselK(Object, Object) Method

Definition

Returns the modified Bessel function, which is equivalent to the Bessel functions evaluated for purely imaginary arguments.

public:
 double BesselK(System::Object ^ Arg1, System::Object ^ Arg2);
public double BesselK (object Arg1, object Arg2);
Public Function BesselK (Arg1 As Object, Arg2 As Object) As Double

Parameters

Arg1
Object

The value at which to evaluate the function.

Arg2
Object

The order of the function. If n is not an integer, it is truncated.

Returns

Remarks

If x is nonnumeric, BesselK generates an error value.

If n is nonnumeric, BesselK generates an error value.

If n < 0, BesselK generates an error value.

The n-th order modified Bessel function of the variable x is:

where Jn and Yn are the J and Y Bessel functions, respectively.
