DataGridView.OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged Method

Definition

Raises the ColumnContextMenuStripChanged event.

protected:
 virtual void OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewColumnEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewColumnEventArgs e);
abstract member OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewColumnEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewColumnEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged (e As DataGridViewColumnEventArgs)

Parameters

e
DataGridViewColumnEventArgs

A DataGridViewColumnEventArgs that contains the event data.

Exceptions

The column indicated by the Column property of e does not belong to this DataGridView control.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged(DataGridViewColumnEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class' OnColumnContextMenuStripChanged(DataGridViewColumnEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
