Parameters

• siteUrl
  Type: System.Uri

  The URI of the search Scope consumer of the required Scope.

• name
  Type: System.String

  The name of the Scope.

Return value

Type: Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.Scope
A search scope.

Remarks

The siteUrl must be any URL to an SPSite, or null .

The name must be not null . It must be a non-empty string that does not exceed 60 characters.
