The MapWebURLToVirtualServerURL method of the SPUtility class returns the absolute URL for the virtual server that contains the specified site.

Parameters

web   A Microsoft.SharePoint.SPWeb object that represents the site.

url   A string that contains the absolute URL for the site.

A string that contains the absolute URL for the virtual server.
