GetExampleDateFormat Method

The GetExampleDateFormat method of the SPUtility class returns an example of the format used for dates within the specified site.

Parameters

web   A Microsoft.SharePoint.SPWeb object that represents the site.

stYearLabel   A string that contains a number representing a sample year.

stMonthLabel   A string that contains a number representing a sample month.

stDayLabel   A string that contains a number representing a sample day.

Return Value

A string that represents the date format that is used within the site.
