To work through the Deployment Tutorials in this section, you must complete the Project Setup in Setting Up the Development Environment.

Check that the following requirements are met:

  • Visual Studio is installed. See Visual Studio Versions.
  • You have a Web or Windows Application that uses Crystal Reports.

Note

If you choose to use the .msi Windows Installer file on the target machine, the Windows Installer provides the Crystal Reports runtime files and the merge modules that are required by a deployment project. The Windows Installer is available for 64-bit machines.
