  2. In the Available dimensions area, select the dimension that corresponds to the logo program you want to run, click Add, and then click OK.
  3. Add the newly installed client to the machine pool by dragging and dropping it from the Default Pool window to the newly created machine pool.

Setting the DTM Client Status

Before you can run tests on a client computer, you must make sure that the status of the computer is set to Ready. Client computers whose status is Manual, Debug, or Unsafe are not available to run tests. Resetting a client computer’s status places the client computer in the Ready state.

The icon next to a client computer’s name in the Job Monitor window indicates the client computer’s status. See Monitoring Client Computer Status for more information about Job Monitor, including a description of the icons and their meanings.

To reset the status of a client computer to Ready state

  1. Switch to the Job Monitor window.
You can also open a new Job Monitor window by clicking Explorers, and then clicking Job Monitor.
  2. Select your DTM controller from the drop-down box in the upper left of the Job Monitor window.
  3. In the Machine Pool pane, click the machine pool that contains the client computer.
  4. In the Machines pane, right-click the computer, point to Change Status, and then click Reset.

To reset the status of a client computer to another state

  1. Switch to the Job Monitor window.
You can also open a new Job Monitor window by clicking Explorers, and then clicking Job Monitor.
  2. Select your DTM controller from the drop-down box in the upper left of the Job Monitor window.
  3. In the Machine Pool pane, select the machine pool that contains the client computer.
