What's New in Web Site

Several enhancements have been made to the design tools included in the Web Site component in the latest release of Microsoft Office Live Small Business.

In addition, you can now save a Web page, including customized site design elements, as a template for use in creating new pages.

Advanced Design

A new set of design features are available in any Microsoft Office Live Small Business account when Advanced Design is activated. For information about how to activate these features, see Activate and Deactivate Advanced Design Features.

These design features let you edit or replace completely the XSLT that supports the header, footer, and navigation bar that is displayed by default on all Web site pages. Or, if you prefer, you can choose not to display a header, footer, or navigation bar.

You can edit the cascading style sheet (CSS) for the site.

You can edit or replace completely the style of lists that display Office Live Small Business data and forms that collect Office Live Small Business data.

You can also quickly add new modules to a page that display site-wide text strings, such as the site slogan.

For more information about each of these advanced design features, see Introduction to the Advanced Design Features.
