How to: Specify Maximum Data and Query Timeouts

Use the Options dialog box to limit the amount of data an Analytics and Tuning Studio query returns, as well as the amount of time a query takes to return data.

Specifying Time-out and Maximum Data Values

To specify the maximum amount of data retrieved

  1. On the Tools menu in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, click Options.

  2. In the tree view, expand Speech Application SDK, and then click Tuning.

  3. In the Query Options pane, specify a value in the Maximum rows per query box.

To specify the maximum amount of time a query runs before a time-out occurs

  1. On the Tools menu in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, click Options.

  2. In the tree view, expand Speech Application SDK, and then click Tuning.

  3. In the Query Options pane, specify a value in the SQL Command Timeout box.
