Create a new calendar

When you create a new application, you can create the application calendar to match the needs of your company.

Warning

After a calendar has been created for an application, the calendar can only be extended and most properties are not changeable. Because a calendar can span a timeframe of many years, be certain of the calendar characteristics you use and need, and then create the calendar to match.

  2. In the Dimension Tasks pane, click Create the Calendar. The Create an Application Calendar Wizard is displayed.

  3. In the Label box, enter a name for the calendar. By default, the calendar name is set to Calendar. The calendar name cannot exceed 40 characters and must be unique. There are reserved words and restricted characters that cannot be used in the calendar name. See the topic About names and labels for a more information about calendar name restrictions.
