Adding a Null Proxy Connection Example

4/8/2010

This example adds a null proxy connection named "NullProxy1" to the device. This proxy is used to ensure all traffic to the Internet metanetwork uses the PPP connection provisioned using the CM_PPPEntries configuration service provider below. The DestId parameter of the CM_PPPEntries characteristic and the SrcId parameter of the CM_ProxyEntries characteristic must match. The GUID used here matches the DestId parameter specified for a network defined using the CM_Networks configuration service provider.

This example creates a null proxy connection that appears in the user interface. **

Remarks

One provisioning XML file typically contains configuration information for multiple Configuration Service Providers. To use this example, you must replace the values as appropriate, and add the node as a child of the OMA Client Provisioning file. **For information about the syntax of this file, see OMA Client Provisioning Files. For examples, see OMA Client Provisioning XML File Examples. **
