OMA Client Provisioning Protocol Support and Extensions

Although Windows phones use the OMA Client Provisioning protocol, it is typically used for the bootstrap process. Microsoft recommends that you use the OMA Device Management (DM) Protocol whenever possible. For more information, see OMA Device Management.
