WebHttpBehavior.DefaultOutgoingResponseFormat Property

Type: System.ServiceModel.Web.WebMessageFormat
One of the values defined in the WebMessageFormat enumeration.

Remarks

If the WebGetAttribute or WebInvokeAttribute does not explicitly set the ResponseFormat property, the value of this property is used as the response format for the operation. The default value of this default-setting property is Xml. The JSON format is not currently supported in Silverlight.
