How to: Rename Endpoints on System Diagrams
In System Designer, you can rename endpoints, depending on the endpoint type. For more information, see Considerations for Renaming Endpoints.
To rename an endpoint
Click the endpoint name on the diagram and type the new name.
Tip
If the endpoint label is not visible, right-click the endpoint, and choose Show Label. If you select a label, the associated endpoint is also highlighted. You can also move labels to a more convenient location on the diagram.

Click the endpoint on the diagram and edit the Name property in the Properties window.
Tip
If the Properties window is not visible, open it from the View menu by choosing Properties Window or pressing F4.
You can also rename a Web service provider endpoint using the Web Service Details window.
To rename a Web service provider endpoint in the Web Service Details window
Right-click the endpoint and choose Define Operations.
In the Web Service Details window, edit the endpoint name on the endpoint row.
