How to: Change Device Security Configuration
Use this procedure to apply a security configuration to a Windows Mobile device or emulator.
Note
The dialog boxes and menu commands you see might differ from those described in Help depending on your active settings or edition. To change your settings, choose Import and Export Settings on the Tools menu. For more information, see Visual Studio Settings.
To apply a security configuration to a device
On the Tools menu, click Connect to Device.
Click a device in the Devices list and then click Connect.
Wait for the device to connect.
On the Tools menu, click Device Security Manager to start the Device Security Manager.
In the left pane, click the device for which you want to provide a security configuration.
In the Security configuration pane, click a configuration.
Click Deploy to Device.
