Syntax

expression.ErrorCode

expression   An expression that returns a Error object.

Return Value
Long

Remarks

The ErrorCode property is implemented as a long integer.

Security Level 2: Can be accessed only by forms running in the same domain as the currently open form, or by forms that have been granted cross-domain permissions.

Example

In the following example, the ErrorCode property of the Error object is used to display the error code number of an error in a message box:

  var objError;

objError = XDocument.Errors(0);
XDocument.UI.Alert("Error name: " + objError.ErrorCode);
