Command Line Parameters for the DVR Engine Functionality Tests

The following table shows the optional command line parameters for the DVR Engine Functionality Tests.

Command line parameter Description

-x test_case_ID

Specifies which test case to run.

/?

Outputs the command line options.

/SinkUserSource guid

Required GUID for the tuner source filter, which provides the input MPEG2 stream.

/SinkASyncSource

Internally used option for simulating input MPEG2 video streams.

/SinkFileSource

Internally used option for simulating input MPEG2 video streams.

/SinkRecordLocation path

Path for adjusting the record location for the DVREngine. This defaults to \hard disk2\. Adjust this to point to your DVR file storage location.

/SourceTestGraph

Internally used option for testing the DVR engine.

/RenderVBI

Used to indicate whether the Vertical Blanking Interval data should be connected to the DVREngine input. This is used for parental control options.

/SourceDecoder guid

Required GUID for the MPEG2 decoder filter, which is used to decode the MPEG2 data for rendering.

/SourceDVRFile file

The name of a set of .dvr-dat and .dvr-idx files which contain a short DVR program for testing. You can acquire this by using your DVR application, or saving a DVR recording from one of the DVR BVT tests.

/SourceVideoPath

The path to the dvr file specified by the /SourceDVRFile.
