The following table describes each test case in the DVR Engine Functionality Tests.

DVR tests that focus on the DVR source graph, which does playback. These tests exercise graph states, trick modes, and multiple permanent recordings with temporary and permanent buffers, both live and buffered. |

DVR seeking tests that focus on seeking within live, temporary, and permanent buffers and seeking both to the beginning and back of the buffer. |
500-520 |
DVR rate change tests that exercise trick modes for all of the DVR buffer types, exercising fast forward, rewind, pause, and slow motion. |
600-601 |
Tests for the test helper functions for generating recorded data for testing the dvr source graph. |
700-705 |
Tests that focus on DVR Source and Sink graph interaction, such as stopping the sink graph while the source is running and playback of a previous permanent recording while creating a new recording. |
