Given when the value of the Name attribute for an <MSHelp:Attr> element exceeds 256 characters. The <MSHelp:Attr> element is used to associate an attribute with a topic. For more information, see Help XML Data Island Markup.

To correct this warning

  • Edit the name of the attribute so that it does not exceed 256 characters.

This warning does not apply to the AttName tag in the attribute definition (.HxA) file.
