USB boot imposes the following limitations on Windows XP Embedded:
- Crash dumps are not generated during USB boot.
- Pagefile is not supported.
- Power management functions such as hibernation and standby are not supported with USB boot.
- EWF HORM is not supported.
- ufdprep.exe does not handle USB fixed disks. Use DISKPART and FORMAT or other applicable utilities provided by the vendor to partition and format these disks.
