Updating the Revision in a Read-Only Object

An object is read-only and identified with a special icon if a newer revision for the object is found in the component database.

To update the revision in a read-only object

  1. In Windows XP Embedded Component Designer, in the SLD browser, select an object.

  2. From the Edit menu, choose Set to Latest Revision.

    Windows XP Embedded Component Designer sets the revision number for the object to a value that is one greater than the largest revision number found for the object in the database.
