Copying an Object

The objects that you create by using Windows XP Embedded Component Designer can be copied, either into the same .sld file or into a different .sld file.

To copy an object

  1. In Windows XP Embedded Component Designer, open the .sld file that contains the object you want to copy.

  2. In the SLD browser, in the left pane, right-click the object that you want to copy and choose Copy.

  3. If it is not already open, open the .sld file into which you want to copy the object.

  4. In the SLD browser, right-click the object folder into which you want to copy the object and choose Paste.

    Note   An object can only be pasted into a folder of the same object type. For example, a component can only be copied into a Components folder.
