Microsoft Audio Compression Manager (MME Core)

The Microsoft Audio Compression Manager (MME Core) component provides support for the Microsoft Audio Compression Manager. This component supplies the Windows Audio Service in the audiosrv.dll file. The Windows Audio Service manages audio devices for Windows-based applications. This component also includes the Microsoft Audio Compression Manager in the msacm32.drv file, and several supporting dynamic-link libraries.
