A version of this page is also available for

Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3

4/8/2010

This function is responsible for hanging up all calls.

Syntax

HRESULT RIL_Hangup(
  HRIL hRil
);

Parameters

Return Value

Positive HRESULT values indicate success and are used as command identifications for matching the asynchronous call result. Negative HRESULT values indicate an error. Errors are defined in the Ril.h file.

An asychronous result of RIL_RESULT_OK indicates success. The lpData notification parameter is set to NULL.

Remarks

The RIL proxy translates the RIL_Hangup function into IOCTL_RIL_Hangup when the RIL proxy calls RIL_IOControl.

In order to properly hang up a voice call when both voice and data calls are in progress, you must modify the behavior of RIL_Hangup function in your driver as follows:

  • If a data call is active, terminate it.
  • If a voice call is active, terminate it.
  • If both a voice and data call are active, terminate only the voice call.
