This function writes a phone book entry to the current storage location.

Syntax

HRESULT RIL_WritePhonebookEntry(
  HRIL hRil,
  const RILPHONEBOOKENTRY* lpEntry
);

Parameters

  • lpEntry
    Phone book entry to write.

Return Value

Positive HRESULT values indicate success and are used as command identifications for matching the asynchronous call result. Negative HRESULT values indicate an error. Errors are defined in the Ril.h file.

An asychronous result of RIL_RESULT_OK indicates success. The lpData notification parameter is set to NULL.

Remarks

The RIL proxy translates the RIL_WritePhonebookEntry function into IOCTL_RIL_WritePhonebookEntry when the RIL proxy calls RIL_IOControl.
