The CreateDISCID.exe tool allows authors to create the configuration file (DISCID.DAT) used by an HD DVD player. A DISCID.DAT file uniquely identifies the content, provider, and disc.
Note Before releasing any real titles, you must create a valid ID using an individualized provider ID and content ID. These may be provided to you by a replication service provider.
