Kernel Debugger Services (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

Platform Builder kernel debugging depends on two connectivity services, the eXDI service and the OsAxs service. When enabled, the kernel debugger runs independently as a connectivity service. For more information, see Enabling Kernel Debugger Support.

You can use the eXDI and OsAxs kernel debugger services to debug an application or to debug a run-time image on a target device. You can also extend the built-in debugging capacities of Platform Builder to support using a third-party hardware probe to enhance the debugging information available to you.

For more information about how the eXDI service and the OsAxs service work with Platform Builder, see eXDI Architecture.

For more information about extending Platform Builder debugging capabilities, see Extended Debugging Interface.
