Specify the Destination Network Example

Send Feedback

The following example shows how to specify the destination GUID for an access-point network. In this example, the network name is "Work Network." In the real XML, the {GUID} placeholder will be replaced with an actual GUID.

<wap-provisioningdoc>
    <characteristic type="Wi-Fi">
        <characteristic type="access-point">
            <characteristic type="Work Network">
                <parm name="DestId" value="{GUID}"/>
            </characteristic>
        </characteristic>
    </characteristic>
</wap-provisioningdoc>

Note   Wi-Fi connections to the Internet will fail if the GPRS connection is configured to use a proxy to the Internet.
