Root Bus Driver (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

The root bus driver is a modification of the bus enumerator. The root bus driver configures hardware, powers-down hardware, powers-up hardware, and loads client drivers using their registry settings. The root bus driver enumerates and loads client drivers in the same way that the bus enumerator loads client drivers. The root bus driver uses device folders to manage its client drivers. Different device folders manage different built-in hardware components.
