Running the One-Card NDIS Test (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

The One-Card Network Card Miniport Driver Test assesses functionalities of the driver by using a single network card.

By default, Test Case 8, Fault Finding, is skipped. Run this test case, if your miniport can be unloaded by using IOCTL_NDIS_DEREGISTER_ADAPTER. This IOCTL unloads drivers for on-board or PCI or ISA-based NICs. If the NIC is PCMCIA/CF and is based on legacy PCMCIA client driver, IOCTL_NDIS_DEREGISTER_ADAPTER will not unload the driver and this test case will fail.

Test Case 11, Suspend and Resume, is skipped if the Windows CE–based device does not support, automatic resume using SYSINTR_RTC_ALARM or IOCTL_HAL_ENABLE_WAKE. If this test case is skipped but the Windows CE-based device supports suspend and resume operation, then perform the suspend and resume operation manually to ensure that the miniport driver is still functional on resume.
