IWMPCore::get_versionInfo
The get_versionInfo method retrieves a String value specifying the version of Windows Media Player.
Syntax
Parameters
pbstrVersionInfo
[out] Pointer to a BSTR containing the version info.
Return Values
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

| S_OK | The method succeeded. |
Remarks
The returned string has the following format: "X.0.0.YYYY" where X represents the major version number and YYYY represents the build number.
Requirements
Version: Windows Media Player 9 Series or later.
Header: Include wmp.h.
Library: Use wmp.dll.
