Use this dialog box to import project outputs from a Microsoft® Visual Basic® project into your installer project. You specify the Visual Basic project as you complete the dialog box.

You reach this dialog box by double-clicking the Visual Basic Installer icon as you create a new installer project.

Options

Please select a Visual Basic project

Specify the Visual Basic project whose outputs you want to pull into your installer project as you create it. You can type the file name and path or click Browse.

Browse

Select this button to navigate to and then select a Visual Basic project.

What type of setup project do you want to create?

Specify which type of installer project to create by selecting the appropriate radio button.

Create Installer

Indicates your installer project will be built into an installer package (.msi) file.

Create Merge Module

Indicates your installer project will be built into a merge module (.msm file).
