query Design view
A window in which you design queries.

To open a query in Design view, go to the Database window, click Queries .gif "Aa210873.dbcqry(en-us,office.10).gif")
under Objects, click the query you want to open, and then click Design on the Database window toolbar.
If the query is already open, you can switch to Design view by clicking View .gif "Aa210873.view1(en-us,office.10).gif")
on the toolbar.
