Previous   Step 6: Testing and Troubleshooting the SimpleSample smart document

After you have finished building the SimpleSample smart document, you need to copy the following files to the deployment location that you specified in the XML expansion pack manifest:

  • SimpleSample.doc
  • SimpleSample.xsd
  • SimpleSample.dll
  • manifest.xml

After you copy the files to the deployment location, you should test your smart document again to make sure it still functions properly in that location.

Note  As you work through this tutorial, you will have additional files to deploy, such as document fragments, help files, and image files. Depending on where you are in the tutorial, you may need to deploy one or more of the files in the following list:

  • Alphabet.gif
  • SimpleSample.bmp
  • Help.htm
  • GettysburgAddress.xml
