ODBC data source

Data and the information needed to access that data from programs and databases that support the Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) protocol. This includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft SQL Server. For example, a SQL Server data source is the SQL Server database, the server on which it resides, and the network information required to access that server. The information required to define an ODBC data source varies depending on the requirements of its ODBC driver. You must create a data source definition for each ODBC database you want to import from, export to, or link to Microsoft Access.
