With the Add-In Manager, you can load any or all of the Office Developer productivity tools that you require, and have them appear in the Add-Ins menu.

To open the Add-In Manager, open the Visual Basic Editor (ALT + F11) from any Office application. If the productivity tool you wish to use is not listed in the Add-Ins menu, you must first load it, using the Add-In Manager located in the Add-Ins menu. When the tool is loaded, you can launch the tool you selected from the Add-Ins menu. To load the Microsoft® Office Developer productivity tool in the Add-In Manager, select the desired add-in, and then select the Loaded/Unloaded check box.

  • Available Add-Ins
    Lists the Add-Ins that you can load into the Add-Ins menu.
  • Load Behavior
    Displays the load status of the Add-In.
  • Description
    Displays a description of the selected Add-In.
  • Load Behavior Options Box
    Makes it possible for you to load or unload an add-in, and gives you the option to load the add-in at startup.
