The MessageCount property indicates the number of messages in the queue. The MessageCount property is read-only.

Applies To

The MessageCount property is a member of the Exchange_Queue Class.

Instance Path

The MessageCount property appears on instances of the \\COMPUTERNAME\ROOT\MicrosoftExchangeV2:Exchange_Queue class.

The following example shows how to retrieve a list of Exchange_Queue instances, and how to retrieve the associated MessageCount properties.
